# Season 6 Beta Feedback and Suggestions ### 1. Bring Back Fluid Dribbling It's great to have magnetism back, but I don't understand why my character gets stunned after almost every turn. I understand this might be intended as a balancing measure, but does dribbling really need this many restrictions? Good players generally play against other good players, while new players play against other new players. So why punish everyone this heavily? Having your character lose momentum after every turn completely kills the flow of dribbling. We already have stamina management and the stun mechanic at zero stamina, so adding even more restrictions feels excessive. Dribbling should reward skill, timing, and creativity rather than constantly interrupting the player's movement. Please give us enough freedom to chain a few dribble moves together without getting stunned every other second. There's a difference between balancing dribbling and making it frustrating to use. ### 2. The Game Feels Way Too Slow The game feels incredibly sluggish right now. Camera movement is too slow, characters feel heavy, and almost every action seems to lack responsiveness. One of the biggest things that made Rematch fun was its fast-paced, fluid gameplay. Being able to turn quickly, react to situations, and improvise with the ball gave the game its own identity. If that fluidity disappears, what exactly are we left with? I'm not asking for unrealistic movement or instant reactions. I just want the game to feel responsive again. Even simple movements feel unnecessarily sluggish, and it's starting to ruin the fun. Please reconsider these changes. Making an arcade football game this slow doesn't make it more balanced or competitive. It just makes the gameplay less enjoyable, especially when matches only last four minutes. Every second should feel engaging, not like you're fighting against your own character just to make a simple turn. ### 3. Netcode Improvements and Tackle Changes I can feel a difference with the netcode changes, although I haven't encountered any high-ping players in the beta yet, so I can't fully judge how much things have improved under those conditions. The tackle nerf was also a welcome change. Tackles needed adjustments, and I think this was the right direction. However, I hope these improvements won't come at the cost of making dribbling unnecessarily difficult. Defending should be effective, but attackers should still have enough freedom to outplay their opponents through skill. Both sides need viable options for the game to remain competitive and enjoyable. ### 4. Reconsider the Stamina Penalties on Dribbling Dribbling already comes with significant risks, especially with the stun mechanic at zero stamina. Adding further restrictions through stamina consumption makes it even harder to maintain possession and create opportunities. The problem isn't that dribbling should have no limitations. Stamina management is a reasonable mechanic. The problem is how these systems stack together, leaving attackers with very little room to maneuver. Please give dribbling more breathing room. Players should be able to make a few consecutive moves without feeling like the game is constantly punishing them for trying to create space. ### 5. Fix the Goalkeeper's Diving Mechanic The goalkeeper's diving mechanic still seems to be bugged. The keeper sometimes refuses to dive when an opponent is right next to them, making the mechanic unreliable in situations where it matters most. I don't understand why this issue is still present. Diving should work consistently according to the intended mechanics, not become unavailable because an opponent is nearby. Please investigate and fix this. Goalkeepers already have a difficult job, and unreliable mechanics only make the experience more frustrating. ### 6. Add More Cosmetics and Shop Items The cosmetic selection could use a lot more variety. More hairstyles for both male and female characters would be a great start, along with additional outfits and other customization options. I'd also love to see more items that can be purchased directly with in-game currency. Giving players more ways to customize their characters without relying entirely on premium purchases would make progression feel more rewarding. Cosmetics might not directly affect gameplay, but they give players something extra to work toward and help keep the game fresh. More variety would make characters feel more personal and give players more reasons to keep playing. ### Final Thoughts I appreciate the improvements in this beta, especially bringing magnetism back and adjusting tackles and netcode. However, my biggest concern is the overall pace of the game. Rematch stood out because of its fast, fluid, skill-based gameplay. Balancing shouldn't come at the cost of that identity. Dribbling shouldn't feel like a constant struggle, turning shouldn't interrupt movement so heavily, and basic character control shouldn't feel sluggish. Please focus on restoring the game's responsiveness while keeping the improvements to balance and netcode. There's a difference between making the game fairer and making it less fun to play. I believe Rematch can achieve competitive balance without sacrificing the fluid gameplay that made it enjoyable in the first place.
