- What makes Klick different, is the fact that there's so many people around us that are super smart and super nice. And I've worked in many places, many countries, and it's really rare to find that many people who are super smart and super nice. - When you put a couple of really curious, smart people together, you can come up with things that you've never thought of. - I'm being exposed to ideas and thought process that I've never considered in previous engagements. I'm now learning new things all the time. - Some of the surprises, and I've had that many time, is the fact that we have the ability to do the research we want to do. People who come from academia, when you have a great research idea, it's really hard to get a budget. Here, if I make a great case to my boss that we need to do this study, we'll do the study. - Having a boss that trusts you to get the work done, and allows autonomy at work, yet provide support and instruction, that's definitely essential to my part of success. - We give our heart and soul to the work we do. Having a leadership group that gives that back to us tenfold, is really different. - This is collaborative. We meet about a research idea, we'll just brainstorm and figure out a way to do it differently, and then we do it. - My team is not just my craft or my domain area, it's cross-functional, it's roles that I've never worked with before. We're always working together at a common goal, and I think that's what makes every team that I participated in pretty unique. - It's fast, it's ever-changing, it's innovative, it's experimental, and you're never bored. - We're an organization that lives at the cutting edge. And the cutting edge by its nature, is a place where we're inventing stuff as we go. And people who thrive in that uncomfortable space, do really, really well here. - To anyone who thinks that healthcare is boring, I would absolutely say, you're sadly mistaken. While it may be more challenging, I love a challenge. - You really have to think ahead of the game. You have to try to really push the boundaries harder. How do you shape mindsets? And how do you make people realize that there's a need for change in healthcare? And it's definitely never boring. - I really like the hire transformatively, because that's what makes Klick more special, is the people we hire. - We're not only focused on the capabilities, We're not only focused on the skill set, we spend a lot of time actually on the back and forth, of talking with the individuals, and seeing what are their core values? What would they like to change in the world? - I know it sounds cheesy, but the people that I work with are just amazing. I mean, it's an office, it's a company, it's a job that's normal, but the people who work here are not normal, in a good way.
