The dogs then are due the very next Wednesday. For what ever reason the pound may have, may it be that they are too full or the dog is not re homable, the dogs may be put to sleep or are at great risk. The pound make all decisions on the dogs and we promote them through Facebook in hopes of getting them adopted before it is too late. The cost to adopt a dog directly from the pound depends on their age and gender. The cost includes de sex, vaccination, micro chip and lifetime registration. The price is set by the pound not Rescue Hub. Thank you for sharing our album and photos, sadly its a never ending occurrence but without you spreading the word, no one will really know about these precious doggies. We are seeking more volunteers to help us on Thursdays or any other day. If you want more information how you can help, please send us a private message. *** NOTE *** Rescue Hub is 100% run by volunteers and is not the pound. We visit the pound to photograph and exercise the dogs, in turn getting to know them and publishing their images online. We DO NOT make decisions on what happens to the dogs we simply dedicate our time to promoting each dog. For more information on Rescue Hub visit us at www.rescuehub.com.au

Rescue Hub Actually they have changed their pricing so older dogs are cheaper now 😉
And I wonder how many of those $29 pets actually found their forever home. Because we are finding surrender numbers have risen dramatically in the last 12 months ...

Annabel Selby-Jones Can the pound recommend dogs? I'm looking for a family pet for 3 active boys aged 8, 9 and 12 so I need one that's hardy enough to run , rumble and play footy with the boys, but isn't a danger to them. What do you think? Hawkesbury is quite a distance from me, so I can't make too many trips. But I think a staffy x sounds like the sort of dog for us.

Rescue Hub The best thing would be to visit a pound, see which dogs are there and meet a few of them to see if they suit your family. Dogs come and go daily.
Also you can try looking on PetRescue.com.au
