Malham Tarn Returns - Loop #1 Starts and finishes at Malham Tarn car park. Touch the rock in front of the information board at the start and end of each loop. This loop follows the Pennine Bridleway for the first half, with steady, runnable trails to get some early miles in. It then joins the Dales High Way, passing through Attermire Scar and some lovely scenic limestone trail running. The final section drops down into Malham before taking on the steep steps to the top of Malham Cove, then returning back to the tarn. A classic Dales opening loop with runnable trails, big limestone scenery and plenty of climbing to remind you this is very much not a gentle warm-up. An informal, self-supported route idea shared by Ultra Trail Collective. Not an organised event. Navigation, kit, safety and decisions are your own responsibility. 2.0 ON_FOOT_RUNNING UNKNOWN 21680.5749227 698.9900000 SINGLE Malham Tarn Returns - Loop #1
